Getting Started
With Affiliate Programs

Affiliate programs can be an effective way of earning
money on the Internet. It doesn't matter whether you have
a product to sell or not; you can help others sell their
products and earn commissions!
One of the biggest advantages of affiliate marketing is
that you don't need to stock products, ship orders, have a
merchant account or anything else like that. Your only job
is to send qualified traffic to affiliate links and cash a
check every month or every two weeks (depending on the
network).
To get started in affiliate marketing, I recommend two
networks which each have thousands of products to market in
this fashion. These two networks also disclose which
products do better for all affiliates in general. This is
a real key to success when you first get started. Pick the
programs that are doing well for everyone else and they
will be much more likely to do well for you. The two
networks I recommend are:

http://www.ClickBank.com
It is free to sign up at each of these networks and you do
NOT need a website to get started. You can buy traffic and
send it directly to the affiliate links you will be
provided when you sign up! Of course, I do recommend that
you eventually get your own web-site. It will eventually
be crucial in your online success. However, if you don't
already have a web-site... or you don't know how to create
web pages yet... it is much better to just take action and
get started today! Affiliate marketing is a great way to
do that. All you have to do is sign up for a free
affiliate network, choose a product, buy some traffic
(visitors sent to your affiliate link) and viola... within
a few hours you could have your first online success.
I got my own start in affiliate marketing. The founders of
MarketingBlaster.com also started their first Internet
business with affiliate marketing. To this day, I still
have some affiliate campaigns going. My total check each
month for affiliate sales alone has been in excess of
$4,000. I'm guessing that it could be 10 times that if I
focused all of my efforts into affiliate marketing (I spend
less than an hour a week at it now-a-days). Although your
first sale may only yield a net profit of $5 or even less,
all you have to do is multiply that. If you purchased
1,000 visitors to get that net profit of $5, just purchase
10,000 to make your first $50. Or 1,000,000 visitors to
make your first $5,000. It really is that simple! Just
reinvest part of your profits back into advertising and
your profits will snowball!
